OUR TEAM

Dr. Kendra Pope
Pet owners trust Dr. Pope to look after the needs of their beloved companions. Her innovative and holistic approach delivers the highest standard of veterinary care and attention. Dr. Pope always knew she was going to become a veterinarian, and when her first spoken word as a young child was ‘Buddy,’ the name of the family dog, her fate was sealed!
Dr. Pope began her academic career as a graduate of Virginia Tech in 2005 and went on to complete veterinary school at the University of Florida. While in veterinary school, she began her training in holistic therapies at the Chi Institute for Traditional Chinese Veterinary Medicine and completed certifications in veterinary acupuncture, Chinese herbal therapy, veterinary food therapy, and Tui-na prior to graduation. Dr. Pope served as her veterinary school class president for 3 years as well as president of the Student Chapter of the American Veterinary Medical Association during the remaining year and delivered her veterinary school commencement speech in 2011. Dr. Pope went on to complete a rotating internship in small animal medicine and surgery at the University of Pennsylvania in 2012, which was followed by a three-year residency in medical oncology at the University of Pennsylvania. She successfully obtained board certification in her specialty of oncology and became a Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine in 2015.

Dr. Amanda Marino
Dr. Amanda Marino joined Prism Integrative Veterinary Health in April of 2022.
Dr. Marino was introduced to integrative veterinary medicine in 2019 when she completed the small animal acupuncture course through Chi University. Since that time, she has taken an increased interest in Traditional Chinese Veterinary Medicine, and embarked on the journey to complete a master’s degree in Traditional Chinese Veterinary Medicine through Chi University. She continues to advance her education in conventional and integrative oncology, integrative nutrition, Western herbal treatments, medical ozone therapy, intravenous nutrient therapy, mistletoe therapy and much more. She also continues to expand her knowledge of treatment options both in conventional medicine, as well as integrative medicine for all species. She is eager to offer integrative care for the furry, scaly and feathered patients here at Prism Integrative Veterinary Health in the near future.

Gabrielle
Gabrielle’s love for animals began at a young age, and was fueled by childhood favorites like Dr. Doolittle, Ace Ventura, and Steve Irwin. Gabrielle comes from a background in emergency, specialty, and general practice. Carrying over 10 years of leadership experience in veterinary medicine. Gabrielle enjoys being outdoors, fishing, and spending time with her loved ones including her frenchie, Merci.

Kate

Katie
Katie is an entrepreneurial spirit with a passion for all things animal related. She started a Pet Portrait Business after obtaining her Bachelor’s Degree from Temple University where she studied Fine Arts and Psychology. In addition to running her own business, Katie has managed the boarding department at Prima Vista Animal Hospital and has also invested time as a Pet Concierge Specialist at Green Leaf Pet Resort. At our practice, Katie is the first point of contact most pet parents interact with when inquiring about our services. She is thrilled to be a part of an integrative practice that is redefining the way we see animal health. When Katie isn’t busy with her work endeavors, you can catch her at the beach with her pup, Cheerio!

Sabrina
Sabrina graduated from Montclair State University with a BA in Italian Literature. She weighed her options to be a teacher and surround herself with students or surround herself with dogs, and chose the latter. She has worked closely with some of the top Clinical Veterinary Nutritionists in the field and brings over 17 years of veterinary client care experience to PIVH. She is pleased to be part of the team. In her spare time, she can be found cooking, gardening, meeting her 10,000 daily steps goal alongside her husband and dog, and daydreaming about pasta.

Chelsea
Chelsea has been in the veterinary field since 2014. She began her journey by being a part of the Brookdale Vet Assistant Program and gained a lot of knowledge and experience along the way. During her time as an adult, she also received her Bachelor’s Degree in Health and Wellness at Ashford University. When she is not at Prism, she enjoys spending time with her husband, son and two cats at home!
